KHCF Renews Partnership with Cairo Amman Bank

Amman, October 6, 2020 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) has renewed its partnership with Cairo Amman Bank, wherein the bank provides financial support for the activities of the KHCF and KHCC’s annual Summer Camp, intended for children receiving treatment at the center.

Cairo Amman Bank is the main sponsor of the Summer Camp program for the fourteenth year in a row, which is held annually for children, as it helps raise their spirits and thus improves their response to treatment. Under the current circumstances, and during the coronavirus pandemic, the program organized children’s electronic events and interactive entertainment activities using virtual reality technology for patients residing at the KHCC, taking into account public safety measures.

In regards to the event, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the KHCF, thanked Cairo Amman Bank for its continuous support and care for this program, and its concern for cancer patients and bringing happiness to their hearts, adding: “The Summer Camp program is part of the comprehensive medical care that we provide to our patients. The activities give children the opportunity to take their minds off of treatment, and provide them with reassurance as they are engaging in different activities while undergoing treatment.”
