About The Graduation Medical Education Office
It is the administrative body responsible for the organization and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows during their medical education and training at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCC).
Residency Programs
The Residency Program is a four-year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council. It is a joint program with Jordan University.
Fellowship Programs
The Fellowship Program is a one-year program focusing on Nuclear Oncology & PET/CT.
Residency Programs
- Radiation Oncology
A four-year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
A specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council for four years, and by the Arab Board for three years.
- Internal Medicine
A one or two-year transitional training program.
- General Surgery
A one-year training program partially accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Pediatric
A one or two-year transitional training program.
- Nuclear Medicine
A four-year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council. This is also a joint program with The University of Jordan.
- Diagnostic Radiology
A three–year specialized training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Anesthesia
Three-year training program accredited by the Jordanian medical council, where residents spend one additional (fourth) year in one of the affiliated hospitals.
- Orthopedic Residency
One-year training program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
Fellowship Programs
Medical Oncology
Three-year program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Surgical Oncology
Three-year program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council and the Arab Medical Council.
- Pediatric / Hematology Oncology
Three-year program accredited by the Arab Board.
- Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
Two-year program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Breast Imaging
One-year program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Palliative Medicine
Two-year program accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.
- Nuclear Medicine
One-year Nuclear Oncology & PET/CT program (not yet accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council.)
