The King Hussein Cancer Foundation Renews the "Towards Life" Campaign in Cooperation with Zain
Amman, March 2023 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), in partnership with Zain, launched the annual "Towards Life" campaign for the eleventh consecutive year, allowing Zain customers to donate by sending an SMS with the word "Life" to the number 97070 for 1 JOD or to the number 97075 for 5 JOD. These donations are directed to support the underprivileged cancer patients who are undergoing treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
The Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, praised this partnership and expressed her appreciation for Zain's efforts, pointing out that the company has been a devoted supporter of the Foundation for many years. She continued, "Zain is a wonderful example for companies that are aware of the importance of contributing to the fight against cancer. We hope that more companies will share our feeling of humanitarian obligation, allowing us to continue to help all patients who believe in us and put their trust in us.
"We are proud of our extended cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center within the framework of our programs and initiatives towards the health sector in the Kingdom, and we are pleased to launch the Towards Life campaign, through which we allow Zain subscribers to be part of this charitable endeavor," said Mr. Tariq Al-Bitar, Executive Director of the Department of Media, Communication, and Sustainability Management at Zain, in regards to this campaign.
The King Hussein Cancer Foundation launches the "Towards Life" campaign every year during the holy month of Ramadan in tandem with the "Your Zakat. My Life" campaign, both of which aim to help underpriviledged cancer patients on the King Hussein Cancer Center’s waiting list.
