Saraya Sponsors King Hussein Cancer Foundation’s ‘Dreams Come True’ Program

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Saraya signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a special ceremony that took place at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) to announce their new partnership in which Saraya will be supporting the Foundation’s ‘Dreams Come True’ program.

The (MOU) was signed by Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of KHCF, and Mr. Ali Kolaghassi, Chairman of Saraya Jordan.

Dr. Asem Mansour, Director General of KHCC, attended the ceremony along with a number of staff members from KHCF, KHCC and Saraya.

During the ceremony, Saraya fulfilled the wishes of young patients receiving treatment at KHCC, distributed gifts and placed smiles on their innocent faces.

Princess Ghida Talal expressed her appreciation and thanked Saraya by saying: "We are very proud of our partnership with Saraya, as they have been one of our long-term and leading partners and supporters in the fight against cancer, never hesitating to support us whenever we knocked on their door,”

“Children have very simple wishes and the most beautiful and innocent of dreams. The smiles that light up on their faces when they see that their dreams have become a reality helps them in their recovery, and is also part of the comprehensive care that KHCC offers,” added Princess Ghida.

Ali Kolaghassi, Chairman of Saraya Jordan commented: “We are pleased to sign this MoU in continuation of our long-term partnership with KHCC and as part of our social responsibility. We are proud to be able to bring joy and happiness to those young hearts hoping this small gesture will contribute to their recovery.”

The children and their parents expressed their gratitude towards the generous gesture that brought joy and delight to their hearts.

The ‘Dreams Come True’ program aims to uplift the spirits of the center’s pediatric and young adult patients and help ease the pain and stress associated with cancer treatment and recovery by fulfilling as many of their dreams and wishes as possible. The Program organizes several activities such as birthday parties, end of treatment parties, as well as celebrating various occasions and holidays.
