Safwa Islamic Bank Renews Support and Partnership

Safwa Islamic Bank renewed its partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) through a new memorandum of understanding (MOU), committing additional funds to KHCF’s Naming & Recognition Program. As a result, the early detection clinic in the King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein Building in Aqaba will be named after the bank, and the bank’s name will be added to the distinguished donors' wall.

The four-year memorandum was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and Mr. Samer Tamimi, CEO of Safwa Islamic Bank.

Mr. Samer Tamimi stated, "We are proud to renew our support for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, which we are committed to assisting in sustaining and expanding its medical services. We are honored to be part of the Foundation's noble efforts to reach patients in the southern governorates, thereby reducing their burdens and increasing recovery rates."

Mrs. Qatamish thanked Safwa Islamic Bank for its continuous support, and contributing to the enhancement of medical services provided. She added, "The bank's support reflects its commitment to social responsibility and significantly helps achieve the Foundation's goals in providing care and support to patients."

The Naming & Recognition Program offers individuals and companies the opportunity to name a room, space, wing, or floor within the King Hussein Cancer Center after themselves, their company, or a loved one.
