Renowned Oncologist Professor Hagop Kantarjian Gives A Lecture at KHCC

Amman, July, 2017: World renowned oncologist Professor Hagop Kantarjian, Chairman of the Department of Leukemia at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas, received the title of Honorary Professor at the School of Medicine from Jordan University in recognition of the immense contributions in the treatment of cancer and blood diseases. The award was bestowed by the President of Jordan University Dr. Azmi Mahafza.

The King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) invited Dr. Kantarjian to give a lecture at KHCC where he held meetings with CEO Dr. Asem Mansour, Chairman of Medicine Dr. Hikmat Abdel Razeq and the medical team on ways to enhance the solid partnership between KHCC and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the crucial fields of cancer treatment, training and research.

HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center said: “It is an honor for me to welcome Professor Kantarjian to KHCC and we are enormously proud to learn and be partners with a man who is a giant in the field of cancer treatment and research”.
