Princess Ghida Talal Launches 9th Arab Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Amman, October 1st, 2025 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), launched the 9th Arab Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign under the slogan: "You are our backbone... get screened today", through a video that encouraged women to undergo early detection screenings for breast cancer.

This campaign, led by the Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP), aims to raise awareness across the Arab world about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

This year, more than 15 Arab countries participated in the campaign, including Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Mauritania, Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Qatar, and Jordan.
