Launching of Second Cycle of the King Hussein Award for Cancer Research
Amman, March 13, 2022 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation launched the second cycle of the King Hussein Award for Cancer Research and applications are officially open to all candidates.
The 2022 Award categories include Arab researchers and scientists from all over the world, including the Lifetime Achievement and Young Investigator Awards in both regional and international tracks, the Clinical Program Excellence Award, and the Promising Researcher Grant.
The Award Ceremony will take place in November 2022 alongside a two-day research conference with participation from oncologists and researchers to discuss and share the most prominent developments in cancer research and prevention.
HRH Princess Ghida Talal launched the King Hussein Award for Cancer Research in 2020 with the aim of promoting cancer research in the Arab world. The Award’s board of directors is headed by Princess Ghida and includes a group of prominent researchers and physicians from Jordan, the region, and the world.
