King Hussein Cancer Center Wins Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award in the Category of Best Arab Medical Center
Amman, December 12, 2018 – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and patron of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, honored the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) for winning the prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences for best medical college, institute or center in the Arab World, further commending the Center’s dedicated efforts to providing the highest levels of comprehensive care to cancer patients across the region.
KHCC Director General Dr. Asem Mansour received the award on behalf of KHCC at a ceremony held in the United Arab Emirates, stating: “This award is the culmination of our combined efforts over the years, and a manifestation of our success in promoting comprehensive cancer care in the Arab World.” Dr. Mansour continued, “KHCC is now among the most sought after centers in the world, offering cancer patients the most advanced treatment plans.”
The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences includes the following three categories: the International Awards, the Arab World Awards and the UAE Awards, all of which aim to recognize individuals, universities, institutions and research centers around the world for their outstanding achievements in the field of medicine.
