KHCF Signs CCI Agreement with HTU
Amman – November 2025. The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed a cooperation agreement with Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation, to include HTU students and staff in the Cancer Care Insurance (CCI) program, which covers cancer treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), and Professor Dr. Ismael Al-Hinti, President of Al Hussein Technical University.
Mrs. Qatamish emphasized that the agreement is an important step toward strengthening health awareness and providing comprehensive cancer care. She said, “This partnership brings health awareness into an innovation-driven, tech-based environment, enabling us to better reach young people and empower them to make informed health decisions.”
Dr. Al-Hinti highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting its community, stating: “At HTU, the well-being of our students and staff is a top priority. Our partnership with KHCF reflects our dedication to providing quality healthcare coverage that offers reassurance and protection. Integrating specialized health insurance into the university system enhances stability and supports our goal of building a safe and holistic learning environment.”
The agreement reinforces the shared efforts of both institutions to promote health awareness among youth, strengthen early detection culture, and ensure that students, faculty, and administrative staff can access specialized care when needed, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable university community.
