KHCF Signs an Agreement with the Embassy of the Czech Republic

Amman, May 4, 2025 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed an agreement with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the presence of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCC).

Through the agreement, the Czech government will provide a grant to KHCF to cover the procurement of critical medical equipment and supplies. This contribution will support KHCC’s medical infrastructure and enhance the quality of healthcare provided to cancer patients from Jordan and the Arab world.

The agreement was signed by Mrs. Sylva Pavlasová, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Jordan, and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF.

Mrs. Qatamish emphasized the importance of this international collaboration, stressing that it will have a tangible impact on the medical services at KHCC, improve the chances of successful treatment, and provide comprehensive healthcare for KHCC patients.

For her part, Mrs. Pavlasová expressed the strong will of the Czech Republic to continue supporting the health sector in Jordan in order to raise the level of health services provided to citizens. She added that the main target of the Czech medical donation is to expand the Center’s capacity and help accommodate the growing flow of cancer patients.

The best feeling is to see the professionality and devotion of the medical staff of the hospital and their efficient treatment of all patients, Mrs. Pavlasová added.
