KHCF Signs Agreement with King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center
Amman, July 5, 2024 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), signed an agreement with Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The agreement aims to cover cancer treatment costs for patients from Gaza at the King Hussein Cancer Center.
The signing was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, and a delegation from the King Salman Center. Princess Ghida expressed pride in the strategic partnership with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, appreciating their ongoing support for cancer patients over the years.
Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah praised the continuous partnership between KSrelief and KHCF, highlighting KSA’s commitment to providing humanitarian aid and medical treatment worldwide. He noted the center's volunteer medical teams that travel globally to offer top-notch medical and surgical services, support hospitals with the latest equipment, and contribute expertise to combat diseases and epidemics.
Since the partnership between KHCF and KSrelief began in 2018, it has achieved significant humanitarian outcomes. The support from KSrelief has covered treatment costs for 195 cancer patients, including Syrian refugees and Yemeni patients.
