KHCF Signs Agreement With Jassim Mohammad Al-Bahar Charity Foundation To Support Cancer Patients

Amman, 24 June 2019 - The Jassim Mohammad Al-Bahar Charity Foundation in Kuwait signed an agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), under which it donates 200,000 US dollars for the purpose of establishing a named goodwill fund under the name “Bahar Fund”.
 
Regarding this strategic partnership, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the KHCF said: “ We appreciate the generous initiative made by the Jassim Mohammad Al-Bahar Charity Foundation, which is an extension of the strong partnerships that brings us together with our brothers and sisters in Kuwait. We look forward to reaping the benefits of the Bahar Fund by giving our underprivileged patients the chance to receive the best holistic treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The support will include refugee patients of various Arab nationalities.”.
 
For his part, Mr. Bassam Al-Bashayra, representative of the Jassim Mohammad Al-Bahar Charity Foundation in Jordan stated that: “This support comes within the framework of our endeavour to brace the efforts of the KHCF in helping cancer patients who are going through the most difficult times as a result of the disease and their difficult living conditions, putting our full trust in the level of medical services offered at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), and hoping to contribute in giving cancer patients the hope that they need during their strenuous journey.”.
