JordanXCancer - Youth Initiative Launches to Support KHCC Patients

Amman, December 2, 2020 - In continuation of the success of the JordanXCancer initiative, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) launched a special initiative for youths, JordanXCancer - Youth, with the aim of collecting donations to support the treatment of underprivileged cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). This initiative comes in partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board.

The initiative encourages youths to undergo powerful humane experiences, wherein a team of participants between the ages of 18 and 27 years old will be part of this initiative by collecting donations to reach the desired goal of 100 thousand Jordanian dinars (JOD) through organizing activities on their social media pages, which will provide an opportunity for all communities, including individuals and companies, to contribute in the fight against cancer.

On the occasion of the launch, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the KHCF, said: “We are pleased to launch the JordanXCancer - Youth initiative, which contributes to strengthening the values ​​of solidarity and giving in the hearts of youths, encouraging them to be benevolent, and emphasizing their role in positively impacting the lives of cancer patients".
