KHCF & KHCC Participate in The ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Forum’ Organized by American University in the Emirates
A delegation from the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) took part in the Breast Cancer Awareness Forum, which was organized recently by the American University in the Emirates (AUE). This participation emphasizes the KHCF and KHCC’s ongoing commitment to combating and raising cancer awareness on the local, regional and international fronts.
The Forum was held in Dubai under the patronage of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Health, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Owais.
Geared towards highlighting the importance of early breast cancer detection and examination during initial stages, the Forum serves as a vital platform for experts to exchange expertise to improve the level of services offered to women with regards to educating them about the essential role of determining breast cancer early on.
KHCF thanked Prof. Muthanna Abdul Razzaq - President of the AUE - for hosting the foundation and KHCC delegation at the Forum, which is one of many valuable Arab and global initiatives spearheaded by the UAE.
The KHCF and KHCC’s participation in the Forum is closely aligned with ongoing efforts to raise awareness about cancer prevention and the importance of early detection. In this context, the KHCF and KHCC lead and support the Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP), which aims to enhance service levels extended to women, share early breast cancer detection methods, as well as increase awareness amongst the general public regarding early detection and regular examinations.
