KHCF Honors Hikma Pharmaceuticals for Supporting the National Campaign for the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program

Amman - December 16, 2018: The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) honored Hikma Pharmaceuticals for sponsoring the national campaign for the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) 2018, which is launched annually in October. Hikma Pharmaceuticals’ support provided underprivileged women with the necessary screening tests and early detection examinations free of charge.

KHCF and JBCP Director General Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish expressed her utmost gratitude for this generous gesture, saying: “We are so thankful to Hikma Pharmaceuticals for their ongoing support for seven consecutive years now. Hikma has always been a pioneer in spreading awareness in the local community and urging every single woman to seek early detection. This is a testament to the important role that the private sector plays in standing by women and offering a helping hand whenever possible.”

Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility Hana Darwazeh Ramadan also commented on this collaboration, saying: “Our partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation stems from our commitment to the health of the community and the need to highlight the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.” She added, “I truly hope that this campaign reaches as many people as possible, all year round, and that women can take charge of their health and educate themselves on breast cancer and how early detection can indeed save their lives.”

Hikma Pharmaceuticals has proven throughout the years to be a loyal advocate and partner to both the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, offering an array of support services in the fight against cancer.
