KHCF Graduates Tawjihi Students and Honors Zain Jordan

Amman, September 19, 2021 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) graduated 31 Tawjihi students among patients currently being treated at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in a ceremony held at the center’s grounds, with the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Education, and Zain Jordan, the exclusive sponsor of KHCF’s Tawjihi program.

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, honored Mr. Tareq Bitar, Corporate Communications Manager at Zain Jordan, for the company’s continued efforts in supporting Tawjihi students currently being treated at KHCC. Zain Jordan’s sponsorship covers the student’s tuition fees during their first semester at universities or professional training centers, or provides them with laptops.

His Excellency Mr. Ali Hammad, Director of the Examination Department at the Ministry of Education, was honored for the ministry’s efforts in facilitating Tawjihi examinations at KHCC.

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish stated: “For the 6th consecutive year, we value Zain Jordan’s sponsorship of KHCF and KHCC’s various programs, and value their constant support for students currently being treated at KHCC. Their support helps patient students continue their education and realize their dreams. These efforts correspond with our goal of holistic care for our patients, including medical, psychological, and social care.”

Mr. Tareq Bitar, Corporate Communications Manager at Zain Jordan, expressed his delight in participating in patient student’s celebrations, expressing his pride in Zain Jordan being the main sponsor of this event for many years now, cementing Zain Jordan’s commitment to cancer patients as it facilitates psychological, social, and financial support for them. These efforts correspond with Zain Jordan’s sustainable development goals applied throughout their programs and initiatives, especially their 3rd and 4th goals; “Good Health and Well-being,” and “Quality Education.”
