KHCF and Kuwait Society for Relief Sign Agreement to Support Cancer Patients from Gaza

Amman, October 2026 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and the Kuwait Society for Relief (KSR) have signed an agreement to support cancer patients arriving from Gaza by covering the costs of their medical treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) and their accommodation in Jordan throughout their treatment.

The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, and Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Saleh, Chairman of KSR. The signing took place during a visit by a delegation from KSR to KHCC, which included meeting patients from Gaza benefiting from the support and witnessing firsthand the tangible impact of humanitarian assistance.

Mrs. Qatamish expressed her appreciation for KSR’s generous support, noting that it reflects the continued strength of the strategic partnerships between KHCF and its dedicated supporters in Kuwait. She emphasized the significant impact their contributions have made in advancing the Foundation’s efforts over the years.

She also extended her special thanks to KSR for its continued support of cancer patients arriving from Gaza, which gives them the opportunity to receive comprehensive treatment in line with the highest standards while helping ease the living challenges they face.

For his part, Mr. Omar Al-Thuwaini, Deputy Director General of the Kuwait Society for Relief, said: “Our support for cancer patients arriving from the Gaza Strip stems from our humanitarian mission and our commitment to standing alongside those most in need, particularly given the extraordinary circumstances facing our people in Gaza. We believe that ensuring patients receive treatment and dignified care is a humanitarian duty before it is a relief effort. We are therefore proud of our partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, a leading model in the provision of specialized medical care.

“We pray that all patients recover and that we are all guided in continuing to serve those in need and ease their suffering.”
