KHCF and Hareer Initiative Sign MoU Launching "My Health Matters" Initiative

Amman, 5 January 2021 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Hareer Initiative for non-profit community development signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to launch the "My Health Matters" initiative, which aims to support the treatment of underprivileged children at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) and spread awareness regarding the most important disease prevention methods in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The MoU was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the KHCF, and Mr. Nihad Dabbas, Director General of the Hareer Initiative for non-profit community development.

As part of the initiative KHCF will design children’s educational kits that contain disease prevention tools like masks and hand sanitizers, in addition to various items that develop children’s skills.

These kits will be available at the KHCF’s offices and locations across various malls in Jordan. They can be presented as gifts to children, wherein 70% of their proceeds will be allocated towards covering the treatment of pediatric cancer patients and 30% will be donated to the Hareer Initiative.
