Jordan Medical Equipment Donates Konica Minolta HS2 Ultrasound Device to KHCC

Amman, April 2025 — As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare and supporting medical diagnostics, Jordan Medical Equipment has donated a Konica Minolta HS2 Point-of-Care Ultrasound Device to the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The donation aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and elevate the overall quality of patient care.

The donation was officially announced during a meeting attended by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), and Mr. Ghaith Al-Zoubi, Director General of Jordan Medical Equipment.

The advanced ultrasound system incorporates state-of-the-art imaging technology that improves image quality and contrast resolution. It enables real-time, high-definition tissue imaging, allowing clinicians to assess tissue stiffness and visualize microvascular blood flow—key capabilities that help speed up diagnosis and ensure more effective treatment.

Mrs. Qatamish expressed her sincere appreciation for the generous donation, noting that the device will have a significant impact on the level of medical services provided at KHCC, particularly in early detection and accurate diagnosis, which are critical to increasing treatment success rates and providing comprehensive care to the patients.

Mr. Ghaith Al Zoubi shared his pride in supporting the Center’s mission, stating, “We at Jordan Medical Equipment Trading are honored to donate the Konica Minolta HS2 Point-of-Care ultrasound device—manufactured in Japan—to the King Hussein Cancer Center. We deeply believe in KHCC’s vital role in delivering world-class cancer care, and we hope this contribution enhances the Center’s capabilities and supports your continued efforts to provide exceptional medical services.”
