Jordan Kuwait Bank Continues Supporting the KHCF University Scholarships Program for the Fourth Year

Amman, December 2025– The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) has renewed, for the fourth consecutive year, its agreement with Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) to support the Foundation’s University Scholarships Program. The program covers university tuition fees for High school “Tawjihi” students receiving treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).

The renewed support reflects the bank’s continued commitment to comprehensive cancer care that goes beyond medical treatment to include psychological and academic support. During the 2024/2025 academic year, 29 students benefited from the scholarships, helping them continue their education without cancer standing in the way of their future.

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, expressed her appreciation for the JKB’s ongoing support, noting that this partnership reflects a shared belief in holistic patient care and enables students to pursue higher education despite the challenges they face.

Jordan Kuwait Bank CEO Mr. Haitham Al-Battikhi affirmed the bank’s pride in this strategic partnership, emphasizing that renewing the agreement for a fourth year underscores the bank’s commitment to social responsibility and its belief that education is an essential part of healing and youth empowerment.

The University Scholarships Program is one of KHCF’s initiatives aimed at supporting “Tawjihi” students undergoing treatment at KHCC who require financial assistance to continue their university education or vocational training.
