Arab Bank Honored for its Platinum Sponsorship of the 2025 King Hussein Cancer Research Award

Amman, November 2025 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), honored Arab Bank, represented by its Chairman Mr. Sabih Al Masri, in recognition of the Bank’s Platinum Sponsorship of the 2025 King Hussein Cancer Research Award, and its continued support of the mission of KHCF and KHCC.

The King Hussein Cancer Research Award is presented annually to recognize outstanding contributions to cancer research, encourage advances in prevention and treatment, and promote regional and international research collaboration.

Last week’s award ceremony was held under the patronage of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and was attended by HRH Prince Talal bin Muhammad as Deputy of His Majesty and HRH Princess Ghida Talal. The event honored leading Arab cancer researchers and scientists who had been selected from hundreds of applicants from more than 26 countries.

The event was attended by members of the Royal Family, ministers, members of the Award’s Board which includes some of the world’s most distinguished oncologists, physicians, and researchers, along with academic figures, media representatives, partners, and supporters.

Arab Bank’s sponsorship of the Award for the fifth consecutive year reflects its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting KHCC’s initiatives and strengthening cancer research across the Arab world.
