KHCF Signs MOU with Dar Al - Manhal Publishers

AMMAN, December 1, 2019 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dar Al-Manhal Publishers, in which it is to support a number of the KHCF’s programs, aimed at covering the costs of treating underprivileged patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The MOU was signed by the Director General of the KHCF, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, and the General Manager of Dar Al-Manhal Publishers, Eng. Khaled Al Balbisi.
 
The memorandum stipulated Dar Al-Manhal's support for the Back-to-School Program, which gives patients in school the opportunity to complete their education while receiving treatment at the KHCC, and the Dreams Come True Program, which aims to raise the morale of pediatric patients at the Center by realizing what is possible of their wishes and dreams, in addition to joining the coin boxes Program; by placing coin boxes in their two branches, allowing customers to make donations. The Dar Al-Manhal team will also start a campaign at their exhibitions, aimed at encouraging customers to donate when making a purchase by adding an amount of fifty piasters to their invoice, and in return Dar Al-Manhal will donate the same amount in their desire to provide the largest possible support for patients at the KHCC.
 
On this occasion, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish said: "We are pleased with this new partnership with Dar Al-Manhal Publishers and we appreciate their support, which will have a positive impact on the lives of our patients who are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to receive treatment. This benevolent initiative reflects a real humane sense, and awareness regarding the importance of supporting our fight against cancer.’
 
For his part, Eng. Khaled Al-Balbisi asserted that the company cherishes its human values and stresses the importance of its role in enhancing community service and volunteer work, noting that the cooperation agreement came in Dar Al-Manhal’s appreciation for the efforts of the KHCF, which is the largest organization dedicated to fighting cancer in Jordan, adding that: “We are pleased to renew our cooperation with the KHCF throughout various programs, in support of the therapeutic methodology followed by the KHCC, which is partly based on the psychological aspect through educational and recreational programs that are presented to ill children, in cooperation with specialized national institutions such as Dar Al-Manhal."
