KHCF Signs Agreement with the Jordanian Expats Platform

Amman, March 7th, 2022 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and the Jordanian Expats Platform, to activate the role of the global Jordanian community by holding periodic fundraising events and employing new technologies to support the Foundation’s humanitarian mission.

Signing the MoU were Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, and Prof. Hasan Al-Barmawi, founder and president of the Jordanian Expats Platform.

The agreement stipulates that the platform will publish KHCF and KHCC’s campaign messages that are aimed at spreading cancer awareness and supporting underprivileged cancer patients currently under treatment at KHCC. Additionally, the platform will network with Jordanian communities worldwide through organizing interactive meetings and charity events aimed at supporting KHCF’s vision.

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish emphasized the importance of the role played by the Jordanian Expats Platform, stating: “We are proud to collaborate with the Jordanian Expats Platform, and we firmly believe in the vital and global role Jordanian communities can have in supporting the fight against cancer, especially that cancer affects every home, whether directly or indirectly”.

From his side, Prof. Hasan Al-Barmawi praised the excellent humanitarian and medical role that KHCF and KHCC have in the cancer care field, stating that the Jordanian Expats Platform will begin assigning Jordanian KHCC ambassadors all over the world to aid the center in donations, and to introduce it to both Jordanians and foreigners alike worldwide.

He further stated that this agreement is an indicator of the platform’s awareness and commitment toward KHCC as a medical edifice, promising to implement joint programs between the Jordanian Expats Platform and KHCC.
