KHCF Signs Agreement With Smart Medical Laboratories
Amman, October 14, 2020 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed an agreement with Smart Labs, which aims to reinforce the efforts of the KHCF through a donation that supports the treatment of underprivileged cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the KHCF, and Dr. Abdullah Al Harairi, Director General of Smart Labs.
According to the agreement, all Smart Labs branches will allocate 5% of the price of each examination they conduct to support the treatment of underprivileged cancer patients, in addition to distributing donation boxes at its 7 branches across Amman, so that visitors can make donations. Furthermore, Smart Labs will offer a special discount for Cancer Care Insurance subscribers on all laboratory tests.
Regarding this cooperation, Ms. Nisreen Qatamish said: “We are happy with this new partnership with Smart Labs, and we thank them for this kind initiative that will positively impact the lives of patients waiting for a treatment opportunity. This support also reflects community awareness and the importance of the private sector’s participation in the fight against cancer. "
Dr. Abdullah Al Harairi stated: “It gives me great pleasure to sign this agreement with the KHCF, as it is an institution that bears a name dear to the hearts of all Jordanians, and by signing this agreement, Smart Labs has delivered the greatest message in the history of the company, as we have always made sure to help patients who are unable to afford test costs, according to their financial abilities.”
