KHCF launches JordanXCancer Campaign to Support Cancer Patients
Amman, August 30th, 2022 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) launched the “JordanXCancer” campaign with participation from a number of social media influencers. The campaign was launched in partnership with Orange Jordan, the gold sponsor, and in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board. Participants will go on adventures to raise money for the treatment of underprivileged cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
The campaign’s past three adventures were a resounding success – the teams achieved their fundraising goals and receiving high social media exposure. The fourth adventure will have a team of 15 participants, each of whom will raise funds on their social media pages to raise a target of 100,000 JOD. On the 27th of October, the team will also go on a three-day adventure where they will walk from Dana Natural Reserve to Petra to achieve their fundraising goal.
On this occasion, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, stated: “The outstanding success of this campaign over the past three years gives us energy for the next adventure. We felt the team spirit within our participants and we see their humane and sensible approach to our cause. They know how vital their actions are in supporting cancer patients who are still on our waiting lists”.
The team is composed of the following influencers: “Tamer Zumot, Jude Jweihan, Dana Hmaidi, Dana Darwish, Rania Omeish, Razan Al Rousan, Zein Salti, Soumaya Al Khab, Shaima Jallad, Lama Maaitah, Moath Kfawin, Nisreen Matalka, Haitham Baroudi, Wissam, Tobeileh, and Yasmin Abu Hassan.
KHCF launched the “JordanXCancer” campaign on International World Cancer Day to incentivize individuals and corporations into adopting healthier lifestyles for cancer prevention. Many activities are held throughout the year to uphold this campaign’s message of cancer prevention.
