KHCF and Maersk Jordan Sign Partnership to Enhance Cancer Care Services
Amman, February – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Maersk Jordan signed a memorandum of understanding to support cancer care services at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The partnership will help ensure patients and their families continue receiving high-quality specialized care throughout their treatment journey, reinforcing Jordan’s ability to provide world-class cancer treatment.
The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), and Mr. Rakan Madi, General Manager of Maersk Jordan.
Mrs. Qatamish highlighted the importance of private sector partnerships in advancing the Foundation’s mission, noting that the collaboration reflects a strong model of corporate responsibility and supports KHCC in maintaining the highest standards of specialized healthcare.
Mr. Madi stated that the contribution aligns with Maersk Jordan’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and collaboration with national institutions, expressing pride in supporting patients and contributing to a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
As part of the donation, Maersk Jordan joined KHCF’s Naming and Recognition Program, enabling the naming of a facility or space within the Center in support of the sustainability of KHCC’s services, and highlighting Maersk’s commitment to supporting patient treatment.
