RJ Renews Agreement to Donate Frequent Flyer Miles to KHCF

Amman, March 13, 2018 — Royal Jordanian and King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) renewed their partnership agreement regarding donations of frequent flyers miles, a partnership that started in 2014.

The agreement was signed today by RJ’s President/CEO Stefan Pichler and Director General of KHCF Nisreen Qatamish at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).

Under the agreement, RJ gives its frequent flyers the chance to contribute to the cause of the fight against cancer by donating their gained travel miles to the KHCF and KHCC to be used by patients and their companions to travel onboard RJ aircraft as part of KHCC’s psychosocial support to patients.

Pichler toured the new, state-of-the-art cancer center and highly admired the advanced level of services provided by the facility.

He said:  “We really appreciate KHCC’s effort to provide the best medical care for the patients and give them hope. RJ is glad to continue supporting KHCF’s different initiatives and missions in the fight against cancer.

“RJ considers serving the community a matter of high priority, and will do its part and its best to serve the Jordanian society, inspired by the Royal Crown on our logo and on all our aircraft that roam the skies.

“RJ will spare no effort to support such initiatives and missions that are in sync with the airline’s goals and vision of social responsibility, which mirrors the kindness of the Jordanian people. We commend RJ’s frequent flyers who donate their collected travel miles to support KHCF. Since 2014, 2.5 million miles were donated to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.”
