KHCF Signs an Agreement with Jordan Ahli Bank
Amman, June 2023 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed an agreement with the Jordan Ahli Bank to support KHCF’s University Scholarship Program. This program is designed to cover university fees for “Tawjihi” high school graduates who received treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, and Dr. Ahmed Al Hussein, CEO and General Manager of Jordan Ahli Bank.
Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish praised the efforts of Jordan Ahli Bank to support this program, which is part of KHCF and KHCC’s mission to provide comprehensive care to cancer patients, which includes the provision of academic support to enable students to pursue postgraduate studies and build the futures that they aspire to.
According to Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussein, this collaboration is consistent with the objectives of Ahli Bank's sustainability strategy – in particular, the Bank’s mission to support Jordanian youth who lack the financial means to pursue their dreams. He noted, “In addition to continuing to support KHCF’s cancer insurance program, we are constantly eager to support the educational process, empower students, and prepare them to become active members of society. In addition to continuing to support KHCF's Cancer Care Insurance (CCI), the Bank also accepts subscribers and collects subscription fees from both clients of the Bank and non-customers who choose to join the insurance through all the Bank’s branches throughout the Kingdom.
