KHCF Signs Agreement With Safwa Islamic Bank

Safwa Islamic Bank signed an agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to support KHCF’s University Scholarships Program, which covers university fees for “Tawjihi” high school graduates who received treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The agreement also includes the Bank's support for KHCF’s October Campaign, which promotes the early detection of breast cancer.

The agreement was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, and Mr. Samer Al-Tamimi, CEO of Safwa Islamic Bank.

Mr. Al-Tamimi stated, "The education and health sectors have always been key pillars of our corporate social responsibility programs and initiatives. From the beginning of the year, we have been eager to expand our contribution in these areas, with the goal of enhancing inclusion that is not restricted to our core financial business. Rather, it extends to educational and health coverage by focusing on the needs of youth and women."

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish appreciated the Bank's efforts to support this program, which is part of KHCF and KHCC’s strategy to provide patients with comprehensive care, which includes holistic treatment and both psychological and academic support. Regarding the Bank’s support for the October Campaign, Mrs. Qatamish stressed the important role that local organizations play in supporting women to undergo early detection examinations for breast cancer.
