Arab Bank Renews Support for "Back to School" Program for the Seventh Year
Arab Bank and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) have renewed their agreement for the seventh consecutive year. Under this agreement, the bank will continue to support the "Back to School" program for the 2024-2025 academic year, benefiting over 400 students who are patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
Since 2017, the program has successfully supported over 2,300 students, thanks to Arab Bank's contributions. The program, run in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, receives support from the bank through several initiatives, including weekly classes, tutoring sessions, and educational lessons provided by a group of Arab Bank volunteers. This helps students continue their education during long treatment periods without interruption. The bank also provides essential academic supplies, such as stationery, books, and laptops, as well as covering specific educational needs like field trips, specialized courses, and school expenses for young patients with special needs.
Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), expressed her appreciation for Arab Bank's continued support, praising its role in the success of the "Back to School" program, which offers patients the opportunity to continue their educational journey despite the challenges they face.
