Central Electricity Generating Company signs MOU with King Hussein Cancer Foundation

Amman, March 2018 - As part of the efforts of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) to provide treatment for  underprivileged patients, KHCF signed a memorandum of understanding with the Central Electricity Generating Company (CEGCO), where the company will donate 50,000 Jordanian Dinars, naming a patient wing at the King Hussein Cancer Center after them.
 
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by (KHCC) Deputy Director General, Dr. Hikmat Abdul Razeq, and Aqua Power Saudi Arabia Chairman Eng. Thamer Al Sharhan, representing (CEGCO).
 
On this occasion, Dr. Hikmat Abdul Razeq stated, “We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to (CEGCO) for this generous donation which will help support underprivileged cancer patients at the center, offering them a real chance at complete recovery.”
 
Eng. Thamer Al Sharhan mentioned, “One of our most important strategic goals is to contribute to building a healthy society, and this step is an integral part of realizing that goal. We are very proud and honored to have had this chance to give back to the community, and to contribute to such an honorable cause, which is defeating this disease under the leadership and support of (KHCF) and (KHCC). As a company that is dedicated to its responsibility towards society, we hope to set an example for other companies in support of this fine institution.”
