This machine will replace the old machine in KHCC’s NNB and will be used to evaluate symptoms in bones and body systems. It allows for real-time images and runs in fluoroscopy studies, and will also provide guidance for some interventional procedures.
Approximately 10,000 cases will benefit from this machinery each year in the Fluoro and General X-Ray Unit. It will benefit patients of all ages, and will allow for particularly fast response for emergency cases, and does not require the use of anesthesia.
