Leukemia MDC

The Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) multidisciplinary clinic at KHCC treats patients diagnosed with:

The Leukemia and MDS Clinic does not accept patients with benign hematology.  Patients are usually referred through the screening clinic at KHCC or the ER. Patients with acute cases can be referred directly from their treating physician outside KHCC. It is recommended if a patient has previously done a bone marrow biopsy to bring bone marrow biopsy blocks for the doctor to review, as well as the results of any blood tests done outside KHCC. The clinic offers complete diagnostic, staging and treatment services, in addition to palliation of symptoms. If a patient is not a candidate for treatment, the leukemia and MDS clinic can treat fevers, infection and pain in patients.
