Where Do Donations Go
All donations for the benefit of KHCC are channeled through the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
For KHCC to continue providing cancer patients with the best treatment available, it needs the full support of the community.
The Foundation has established numerous programs that allow everyone to participate in the fight against cancer. We appreciate and need all donations.
All donations and contributions from KHCF’s fundraising activities are channeled to help achieve the following goals:
1. Upgrading the medical capacity of KHCC by:
■ equipping the Center with the latest medical equipment, both for diagnostic and treatment purposes
■ supporting existing medical programs and expanding other medical services
■ supporting the continued recruitment of a world-class medical team
2. Supporting the Prevention and Control of Cancer
■ educating men, women and the community on cancer awareness, lifestyle and early detection programs
■ leading national breast cancer program which ensures quality screening services available to all women in Jordan, establishing unified protocols and guidelines to physicians, and improving the education and training of health personnel
■ aiming to reduce disease, disability and death related to tobacco through pharmacological treatments, clinician provided social support and skills training through the Smoking Cessation Clinic at KHCC
3. Supporting Patients
■ KHCF, through the Goodwill and Zakat Funds*, supports underprivileged patients who cannot cover treatment costs
■ Psycho-social and therapeutic programs are available for patients and their families.
